How to use this online course?

I suggest that you start at the beginning, because the modalities upgrade slowly and are designed for you to try them out in practice. If you just look at the videos and read descriptions, then it will be just good information. To truly understand it, you need to try it out and find ways to implement it into your own practice.

If you are already an experienced teacher / facilitator / coach... , then you can choose the topics you like or need and jump from modality to modality and slowly progress through the modules at your own pace.

With this in mind, this online course allows you to work at your own pace and pause for a moment where necessary, implement some of the magic and get back to the course for more.

Nine Tips for Making the Journey

First look at the videos and then read the texts.

Sometimes when reading the description of a modality, it might sound complicated, but then when you see the video tutorial, you realize that it’s actually quite easy.
Then do the modality for yourself, to get an experience and possibilities. And then if you teach/facilitate/coach adjust, upgrade and try with your friends, students, clients. Once you have teaching experience then it's time to integrate it into your work as needed.

Make a commitment to the program

Understanding modalities and implementing it into your own practice is serious work and cannot be undertaken with a casual attitude. Make a sincere commitment to engage the process.

Set up a study schedule

Try to allocate a specific time each day or week when you will be undisturbed. Maintaining a consistent study schedule will build a momentum to carry you throughout the program.

Dedicate yourself to keeping a journal

Keeping a daily journal helps you stay in the present by tracking your thoughts and experiences on a regular basis, making them something you can always return to later on.

Follow the steps in order

There is an inherent logic to the order of the Steps. Following the Steps in sequence will ensure that you accurately understand the dramaturgy of the eight (8) steps. You may be tempted to skip ahead because you think you’ve already learned the material …

However, if you are already an experienced teacher / facilitator / coach... , then you can choose the topics you like or need and jump from modality to modality and slowly progress through the modules at your own pace and logic.

Not all modalities are created equal

The time required for the different modalities will vary, based both upon the complexity of the material and your comprehension of it. Some modalities and exercises are more intense, challenging, and time-consuming than others.

Repeat a modality as necessary

The Online Program is specifically designed to allow you to work at your own pace. If you feel that you haven’t adequately grasped a particular teaching, simply repeat the modality before moving on. Hit the pause button as often as necessary to give yourself time to reflect on a teaching and to record answers and questions in Your Journal.

Reach out to fellow students

At times, you may feel somewhat isolated on your journey, or that you’ve perhaps reached an impasse, feeling stuck and not knowing how to move forward. Facebook Group provides a sense of community, a cyber-support group to motivate you, and is moreover a place where you have an opportunity to assist others on their journey, share resources, and get quick help from me. I will also be present in the Facebook group for you.

Be patient with yourself!

The journey through Online teachers Course cannot be rushed. Guard against racing to the finish line; it isn’t a competition … it’s a journey.

Reshape, Upgrade… Make it yours!

Once you understand the purpose and mechanics of the modalities and exercises, feel free to try them out and upgrade them with your own creativity and shape them in way that will serve your needs and the needs of your students, clients …
